Every request has its own skill test, built for its field and format and scored on three axes, in each direction. Only candidates whose test has been scored and confirmed are matched.

Before the engagement, MetaPret builds the interpreter's prep pack: a domain glossary, a background briefing, and reference materials for your specific meeting. Your interpreter walks in ready.

Three verified tiers, one bar
Every interpreter takes the request's own test before matching, scored on the same three axes. The tier reflects track record, not a lower standard, so you always know what you're paying for.

Ranges for engagements in Korea, per interpreter per day, before VAT. Only tier, half or full day, number of days and headcount move the amount; field and city do not. Overseas engagements are priced on local rates, with travel quoted separately. A range is not a quote: the confirmed quote follows review of your request.
The request flow shows the same ranges for your dates, headcount and format, then MetaPret confirms the quote.
Cancellation policy
Cancellation charges apply per scheduled session, based on that session's date (Terms §6):

The same schedule applies to your all-in quote. Custom enterprise contracts may override these windows by agreement. Discuss at quote time.

The following services have transparent flat-rate add-ons disclosed at quote time:
- Pre-engagement briefing call with the matched interpreter, included free up to 30 minutes. Additional briefing time billed hourly per interpreter at standard pre-meeting rate. Briefing materials shared via the platform are not billable.
- Recording (internal use only): add 50% to the quote. Pre-consent from the interpreter required.
- Recording (external broadcast or distribution): add 100% to the quote. Pre-consent required.
- Live broadcast or streaming: add 100% to the quote. Pre-consent required.
- Engagement outside the hub city's standard service area: travel cost + per diem itemized at quote time. Hub cities listed at /cities.
- Same-day or 48-hour urgent matching: standard rate applies, with no urgency surcharge. The engagement test still runs first, so fewer candidates can test in a short window.
Conference + multi-language engagement add-onsShow detailsHide details
- Simultaneous interpretation requires minimum 2 interpreters per language pair per booth, with handoff every 20–30 minutes.
- Equipment (booth, headsets, mics) is NOT bundled in interpreter rate. MetaPret can coordinate equipment rental through partner suppliers at separate quote, or you may use your own.
- Conference team coordination fee applies for engagements with 3+ language pairs or 6+ interpreter team configurations, disclosed at quote time.
- Pre-conference team briefing included free for multi-day events with the full booked team.
What stays consistent
- No hidden fees added after quote confirmation.
- Your quote is ONE all-in number, with the interpreter's pay and the MetaPret fee shown as separate figures. Operational add-ons (recording, travel, etc.) and applicable VAT, if any, are stated plainly on top.
- VAT applied per Korean tax law for Korea-based engagements. International engagements may apply zero-rate (영세율) per local tax treaty, confirmed at quote.
- All quotes valid for 14 days unless engagement window forces earlier confirmation.
Recurring partner pricing
Clients with sustained engagement volume may transition to a Recurring Partner tier with custom pricing terms. Triggers and conditions discussed when usage patterns warrant, typically after 3+ successful engagements with sustained satisfaction.
How to get a quote
- Submit a request at metapret.net/request with engagement details (date, duration, language pair, domain, location, format).
- We send a shortlist of verified interpreters.
- The all-in quote is included with the shortlist: one number, plus any applicable operational add-ons stated separately.
- You select. Match confirms. Operational fees only apply if you trigger them (recording, broadcast, urgent matching, etc.).
