Cancellation policy
Standard windows for cancellation after match confirmation:

The same schedule applies to your all-in quote. Custom enterprise contracts may override these windows by agreement — discuss at quote time.
100% guarantee policy
Every MetaPret engagement is covered by a 100% guarantee:
- If the match doesn't meet professional expectations: contact cs@metapret.net within 7 days of the engagement.
- What we do: investigate the specific concerns, then either provide a replacement match for a comparable engagement OR issue a full refund.
- What we cover: mismatch on language pair, domain expertise, or professional conduct standards.
- What we don't cover: changes to the engagement scope after match confirmation that the original interpreter could not have prepared for.
Operational fees
The following services have transparent flat-rate add-ons disclosed at quote time:
- Pre-engagement briefing call with the matched interpreter — included free up to 30 minutes. Additional briefing time billed hourly per interpreter at standard pre-meeting rate. Briefing materials shared via the platform are not billable.
- Recording (internal use only): add 50% to the quote. Pre-consent from the interpreter required.
- Recording (external broadcast or distribution): add 100% to the quote. Pre-consent required.
- Live broadcast or streaming: add 100% to the quote. Pre-consent required.
- Engagement outside the hub city's standard service area: travel cost + per diem itemized at quote time. Hub cities listed at /cities.
- Same-day or 48-hour urgent matching: standard rate applies. A 10–20% urgency premium may apply for engagements requiring evaluator-pool reshuffling at short notice — disclosed at quote time.
Conference + multi-language engagement add-ons
- Simultaneous interpretation requires minimum 2 interpreters per language pair per booth, with handoff every 20–30 minutes.
- Equipment (booth, headsets, mics) is NOT bundled in interpreter rate. MetaPret can coordinate equipment rental through partner suppliers at separate quote — or you may use your own.
- Conference team coordination fee applies for engagements with 3+ language pairs or 6+ interpreter team configurations — disclosed at quote time.
- Pre-conference team briefing included free for multi-day events with the full booked team.
What stays consistent
- No hidden fees added after quote confirmation.
- Your quote is ONE all-in number — interpreter pay and MetaPret's fee are never shown as separate lines. Operational add-ons (recording, travel, etc.) and applicable VAT, if any, are stated plainly on top.
- VAT applied per Korean tax law for Korea-based engagements. International engagements may apply zero-rate (영세율) per local tax treaty — confirmed at quote.
- All quotes valid for 14 days unless engagement window forces earlier confirmation.
Recurring partner pricing
Clients with sustained engagement volume may transition to a Recurring Partner tier with custom pricing terms. Triggers and conditions discussed when usage patterns warrant — typically after 3+ successful engagements with sustained satisfaction.
How to get a quote
- Submit a request at metapret.net/request with engagement details (date, duration, language pair, domain, location, format).
- We send a shortlist of verified interpreters within 24 hours.
- The all-in quote is included with the shortlist — one number, plus any applicable operational add-ons stated separately.
- You select. Match confirms. Operational fees only apply if you trigger them (recording, broadcast, urgent matching, etc.).
